Come and enjoy the facilities and amenities offered at Boughton Ridge Golf Course and experience some unique and fun challenges during the event. Our 3rd annual Rainbow Council Community golf outing will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017. Registration begins at 1 pm with a 2 pm shotgun start.
The cost for golf is $100 per person which includes 9 holes of golf, riding cart, 2 drink tickets, reception and dinner. On course opportunities include a $1,000,000.00 Hole-in-One contest, a Hole-in-One contest to win a brand new Chevrolet vehicle worth up to $35,000.00, $250.00 in cash, sports equipment, various gift cards and much, much more. Mulligans will also be available as part of our Best Ball Scramble.
A reception followed by dinner will start at 5 pm immediately following golf. Cost for the reception and dinner only is $40.00. Silent auction items will be available for bid during dinner. All proceeds generated during the event will directly benefit the over 4,500 youth involved in the Scouting program in the Rainbow Council.
The Boy Scouts of America, Rainbow Council serves Will, Grundy and Kankakee counties. For over 105 years, Scouting has relied on strong and valued partners to carry on our mission of delivering the timeless values of Scouting to our youth.

Dresden Generating station and BSA Rainbow Council Partnership
Dresden’s Generating Station, the nation’s first full-scale, privately financed nuclear power plant, invites you to a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Merit Badge Clinic on August 12, 2017; featuring Nuclear Science, Engineering, Electricity, Fire Safety, Bird Study, Electronics, Medicine, Finger Printing & Automotive Maintenance Merit Badges.
All participants will be provided a tour of the Nuclear Reactor Control Room simulator. Lunch will be provided. There is $5 fee associated with this clinic. Please, refer to the prerequisites to successfully complete your merit badge.
