Camp Improvement Beaver Days

WHAT is a “Beaver Day”??

Beaver days and Camp Improvement days are days we ask for any help we can to help improve camp! While Beaver days are aimed towards Youth and Cubs, we welcome participants of all ages to help restore and reinvigorate Camp Rainbow Scout Reservation.

Who can help with Camp Improvement/Beaver Days?

Scouts, Adults, and Families join us at RSR (Rainbow Scout Reservation)! Families too. If you can move, we can put you to work. (All cub  scouts and Webelos will require participation with an adult).

How long are camp improvement days?

Come for the day or half day

The main focus of Beaver Days is to help improve camp at Rainbow Scout Reservation in Morris, Illinois. We have a list of items that need to be attended to.

How do I get started?

What is your skill set, how can you help us?

Please contact Rick Talerico at 708-906-2573 or text Jim Thuot (815-325-2202) if you would like to participate, what skill set you may have and indicate the days/times when you are available. Any equipment required will be provided. We will be on site to offer direction. Service hour credit can be arranged. We ask that you to bring BSA Physical forms (Part A and B) for participants, and we will keep a copy of Part A.

Pleas note: we will be taking pictures of the work for publication on various platforms.  Thank You in advance.
